Dabs of colour - doodles

I have hours of fun doing this - when I am trying to paint something 'proper' I often find the dabs of colour on the page (put there to clean the brush) a lot more interesting. I often use the dabs or splat watercolour paint then look at what the shapes suggest. From the chaos a story often emerges and characters appear. this always surprises me!

Rainy summer days and the seed of an idea.

Thinking out loud.

Back to school - feeling small.

Looking for meaning.

A day out at the farm.

Stuff.

Spring rain, blue girl.
